Megan and Claude is an event styling business based on Gower and in Ammanford.

Beth Stretton has been running weddings for 15 years. Having started her career in France where she runs a large planning company called Marry Me in France, she relocated home to Gower in 2013.

On returning home Beth didn’t want to plan events but decided instead to focus on her passion for styling them. Megan and Claude was created and has gone on since then, to become one of the leading businesses of its kind in Wales recently winning event decorators of the year in 2020 at the Welsh Wedding Awards.

Beth runs the company alongside her husband Huw (also a Swansea native) who provides both an extra brain and most of the brawn!

Our Business

I guess in a nut-shell our business is a one-stop wedding shop fronted by long time event professionals so couples are in safe hands.

Our main focus is to create bespoke events. Every wedding is individually styled with the couple at the heart of the theme. We have a warehouse full of props of every colour and style and specialise in tableware and large scale items.

We are not for everyone but we think that is our strength tending towards vintage, retro, rustic and alternative (and definitely not pearls and whites.) Customers can rent props from us by the item, they can employ us to style their event from start to finish.

We can also provide coordination or staffing where appropriate. We also work with fantastic local chefs to provide a catering service when couples want us to be a one stop shop.

We are continually updating and modifying the items we stock and Huw can make pretty much anything from scratch where a couple require bespoke items.
