Nicholaston Farm Caravan & Camping
Nicholaston Farm is a 5th generation family farm first occupied in 1900 by the Beynons as tenants of Penrice Estate which operated an extensive camping business on Gower. We were first instructed to take campers in the late 1920’s and have done so to the present day. Nicholaston was a traditional mixed farming enterprise including seasonal crops, milking, cattle and sheep.
Our location has always attracted campers for its proximity to our secluded beaches at Crawley, and Great and Little Tor.
We are a family-orientated campsite offering touring pitches with electric hook up for motorhomes, caravans, and campervans, and a choice of with or without electric for tents. Our campsite is perfectly positioned for walking or hiking as the coastal path runs beside the site & we are in close access to the Gower Way.
The fabulous beaches at Crawley, Oxwich, Great and Little Tor, and Three Cliffs are all within a 10-minute walk from the site.
Our site offers WiFi, charging facilities for mobile devices, showers (with heated floors), use of fridges, freezers and microwaves, and a vanity room for our guests, all free to use of course. We also have outdoor showers for washing down surfboards and wet suits, and a dog wash for your 4-legged friend. Laundry facilities and drying cabinets are also available.
Our shop and café are open every day for the daily essential groceries. Fresh bread, croissants and pain-au-chocolat are baked every morning in the cafe.
We are delighted that TripAdvisor has recognised our consistently great reviews by awarding the site their Certificate of Excellence. Obviously, we are also delighted that our customers are pleased with what we offer and take the time and trouble to say so. We are proud to be rated 5 on both TripAdvisor and Facebook.
We are ideally located on the beautiful Gower Peninsula just off the main A4118 from Swansea, which is served by local buses running between Swansea and Rhossili Bay, and combined with our easy access to the Gower Coast Path makes us 1st choice for exploring Gower on foot, even if you only make it halfway!
